Majors & Minor
Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Computer Science: This B.S. is our most technical undergraduate offering, designed to prepare students for careers in industry or for advanced study in computer science.
Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) in Computer Science: This A.B., with its broad, flexible requirements, is ideal for students who want to combine computer science with another discipline, such as mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, government, psychology, linguistics, or philosophy.
Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) in Computer Science, Ethics, and Society: This A.B. combines strong technical training in computer science with the deep study of ethical and policy challenges relevant to the field.

Accelerated M.S. (B.S./M.S.) Program
The Computer Science accelerated M.S. program allows current Georgetown undergraduates in the B.S. Computer Science program the opportunity to take graduate-level coursework during their senior year and to apply some coursework to both the B.S. and M.S. degrees. This allows students to complete the M.S. degree with only one year of additional study beyond the B.S. degree.

Post-Baccalaureate Certificate
The Post-Baccalaureate Certificate in Computer Science (PBCS) program is designed for qualified students who have an undergraduate degree in a discipline other than computer science. It lets students take foundational courses in programming, data structures, algorithms, and systems, as well as electives in cutting-edge topics. The program prepares students for further advancement in their current field, for entry-level positions in industry and in government, or for graduate-level study in computer science.
