Available Positions
The Department of Computer Science at Georgetown University is seeking instructors for elective courses for graduate and undergraduate students for the fall of 2018.
We are seeking a graduate course in deep learning or in other areas of professional interest to graduate students that are taught by people who have extensive experience in that area.
For two undergraduate courses, we are interested in the areas of: software engineering; parallelism in systems, algorithms, or programming; HCI; or a rigorous course in web development. We also welcome proposals for other electives that would be of interest to undergraduates that reflect the expertise of the instructor.
To apply, please send a single PDF file that contains:
- A cover letter that addresses the instructors experience in the topic proposed and interest in teaching
- A CV or resume
- A proposed course description or syllabus, including individual topics, brief project descriptions and grading criteria
For questions or to apply, please email Clay Shields <clay@cs.georgetown.edu>.
Applications will be considered on a rolling basis starting on May 14th, 2018.
