Elissa Redmiles Earns Recognition for Pioneering Socio-Technical Security Research

Prof. Elissa M. Redmiles has received the Outstanding Early-Career Researcher Award from the ACM Special Interest Group on Security, Audit and Control (SIGSAC). The award was presented at the 2024 ACM Conference on Computer and Communications Security (CCS) in Salt Lake City, UT. The award recognizes her groundbreaking contributions to socio-technical security research.

Elissa expressed her gratitude, saying, “I’m extremely honored to be recognized and supported by the security community in doing human-focused interdisciplinary research. I’m very grateful to my nominator, letter writers, and all of the mentors throughout my career who made this achievement possible.”
